2016 Izway Aglianico

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of fresh dark raspberries combine with ripe cherries and dried cherries over subtle infusions of fresh herbs and light spice. Soft fleshy fruit flavours of dark and dried cherries intermix with fresh herb and earth infusions. Vivid almost sour like acidity and chalky tannins firm up the back palate and give the wine a very dry finish. Chewy aftertaste of dark cherries, dried cherries, light earth and fresh herb infusions.
Cellar 3-4 years.
