2016 Humis Vineyard Heathcote Shiraz

Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Elevated aniseed and liquorice allsorts aromas mix with ripe blackberry and dark plum over a spicy vanillin oak back drop with hints of dark chocolate also evident. Full bodied and opulently textured the palate is flush with rich aniseed, blackberry and liquorice flavours which sit over spicy vanillin oak characters. Velvety yet broad shouldered tannins with a long liquoricy aniseed dominate aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
