2016 Hugh Hamilton The Rascal Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas intermix with dark chocolate followed by vanillin cedar, earth and spice notes. Rich with solid body weight the palate is filled with ripe blackberry, liquorice and subtle dark chocolate flavours over a back drop of vanillin oak, lightly charred earth and spice. Opulent feel with sturdy, slightly drying tannins. Excellent depth with a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
