2016 Gibson Eden Valley Riesling

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lime and lemon top notes overlay a hint of green apple, orange rind and talc. Light, tight and lean the palates flavours of fresh lime juice, citrus and green apple are supported by a precise line of acidity finishing with steely mineral infusions and a crisp dry finish. Aftertaste of lime juice, citrus, green apple and steely mineral. A dry, austere Riesling.
