2016 Giant Steps Tarraford Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromatics of white peaches and ripe pear are intermeshed with dried honey characters over a backdrop of biscuity nougat and spice. Medium bodied the palate shows good intensity as well as finesse featuring generous flavours of ripe white peaches and dried honey laced with biscuity nougat characters, faint cashew and spice. There’s a slight creaminess to the textural feel which will become further enhanced with bottle age. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of ripe peaches, dried honey, biscuity nougat, subtle cashew and spice.
