2016 Giaconda Nantua Les Deux Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with flecks of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Pronounced aromatics of ripe peaches and nectarines are married to notions of light honeycomb, infusions of gun flint and faint citrusy nougat notes. Combining length and elegance with an understated richness the palate possesses ripe white peach and nectarine flavours which are overlaid by dried honey characters. Lightly toasted biscuity oak, subtle gun flint and traces of spicy cashew also chime in. Creamy textured mouthfeel finishing fresh with vibrant balanced acidity. Long aftertaste of ripe peaches, nectarines, dried honey, traces of lemon butter, lightly toasted biscuity oak and subtle gun flint.
