2016 Gestalt Blacklight Mataro Grenache

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edgings and a dark red hue. Ripe aromatics of dark plum and dark raspberry are followed by a hint of blueberry, liquorice, earth and spice. Soft and juicy the medium bodied palate is blessed with succulent dark plum, spicy dark raspberry, blueberry and subtle liquorice flavours over traces of earthy herbs and old vanillin cedar. Plush mouthfeel with velvety tannins and a long spicy dark plum, blueberry, dark raspberry, subtle liquorice, vanillin cedar, fresh herbs and spiced earth aftertaste. Delicious.
