2016 Georges Duboeuf Chiroubles

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Fragrant scents of ripe dark cherries and anise are overlaid by smoky incense characters with traces of fresh herbs and spice also present. The light savoury palate has flavours of juicy dark cherries and ripe strawberries intermixing with subtle smoky anise like elements, light earth and spicy herbs. Dry fresh finish with a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
