2016 George The Unbound Shiraz

Fruit is sourced from Barossa & Padthaway. Totally opaque inky black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. Lifted aromas of black cherries, liquorice and plums overlay vanillin cedar, light fennel and pepper. Boldly flavoured with rich, yet youthful dark plum, black cherry and liquorice characters followed by lightly toasted vanillin cedar, subtle fennel infusions and pepper. Dry inky finish with slightly chewy tannins. Aftertaste of dark plums, black cherries, liquorice, lightly toasted oak, fennel and pepper.
Cellar 5-6 years.
