2016 Five Geese McLaren Vale Shiraz

Dense black dark red core with a dark red hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice, blackberry and black cherries morph into toasty vanillin oak, subtle earth and black pepper. Rich and exceptionally concentrated the palate is awash with opulent blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits which are backed by ample freshness and a rigid yet well integrated tannin structure. Toasty vanillin cedar, fennel and black pepper flow onto the back half. Excellent power concluding long, rich and vibrant.
