2016 First Drop Mother's Milk Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted dark plum and liquorice aromas intermix with blackberries over vanillin cedar, fennel and spice. Medium to full bodied with a very supple, fleshy textural feel, rich flavours of dark plum and liquorice are to the fore followed by vanillin cedar, fennel and spicy pepper. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper.
Drink this slurpable Shiraz over the next 4-5 years.
