2016 Dowie Doole G&T Grenache & Tempranillo

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Elevated black cherry and dark raspberry aromatics drift out of the glass followed by some liquorice, light earth and spice. Medium bodied with a juicy feel the mouth is filled with rich black raspberry and black cherry flavours which are shaded by some liquorice and a touch of earth. Finishes spicy with soft velvety tannins. Aftertaste of black raspberries, liquorice, black cherries, faint notions of earth and spice. A generously flavoured and quite savoury blend.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
