2016 Domaine des Hates Petit Chablis

Bright pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Scents of ripe pear, light dried honey and a hint of quince are overlaid by stony characters followed by hints of biscuit and fresh herbs. Light in body but nicely rounded in the mouth the palate has flavours of pears and citrus which run into wet stone nuances, subtle fresh herbs and flinty mineral. Finishes dry with good fresh acidity and an aftertaste of pears, citrus, wet stones, traces of dried honey and fresh minerally herbs.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
