Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose reveals ripe black cherry and liquorice aromatics followed by subtle incense, scorched earth and peppered meat notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses rich black cherry, black raspberry and liquorice flavours which run into infusions of incense, smoked meats, earth and pepper. Slightly chewy on the finish with sturdy but well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of ripe black cherries, black raspberries, liquorice, smoked meats, earth and pepper.
