Made with predominately Syrah (60%) with a solid dose of Grenache (40%) also included, the Wine Advocate’s Joe Czerwinski describes this as a ‘screaming value’.

Brilliant everyday Rhone.

Excellent depth of colour with a black core and bright dark purple hue. Presenting good aromatic lift the nose is scented with black cherries, dark raspberries and subtle liquorice which meld into earthy incense like notes and spicy pepper. Medium bodied and showing off ample richness on the palate, a delicious flavour profile of black cherries, liquorice and dark raspberries sits over earthy incense like infusions. Finishes spicy with a finely grained tannin structure. Solid length with an aftertaste of spicy black cherries, liquorice, subtle dark raspberries, earthy incense characters and pepper.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews…
Lovely rich opulent and floral, black berry and plum nose, the palate is big with well layered fruit, attractively firm but soft tannin and hints of oak, a big wine with a lovely finish.
