2016 Dandelion Vineyards Pride of the Fleurieu Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in some new but predominately older French oak barriques for 18 months. Great colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark red black hue. Ripe blackcurrant aromas tinged with mulberry and cedary tobacco characters are followed by hints of red liquorice, black olive and spicy herb end notes. Medium to full bodied a torrent of red and blackcurrant flavours flood the mouth over a backdrop of ripe mulberries, black olive, cedary tobacco characters and fresh herb infusions. Sturdy well built tannins provide excellent structure. Medium to long ripe red currant, mulberry, cedary tobacco character and dried herb aftertaste.
