2016 Dandelion Vineyards Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in French oak barriques. Beautifully coloured with an impenetrable inky black dark purple core and a deep bright dark purple hue. Nosing  reveals lifted fresh dark plum, ripe blueberry and liquorice fruit scents over a back drop of vanillin cedar and spice. Full bodied with rich freshly squeezed dark plum, ripe blueberry flavours filling the mouth followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Bright finish with a vibrant opulence to the mouthfeel and velvet like tannins. Long spicy aftertaste of dark plums, ripe blueberries, liquorice and vanillin oak.
