Rich and possessing a high degree of succulence, the palate is flooded with ripe dark raspberry, dark cherry and liquorice fruits which are underscored by elements of scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spicy pepper characters. Velvety tannins. Excellent power with a long juicy aftertaste.

Other Reviews….
The grenache came from two vineyards in Blewitt Springs, the shiraz and mourvedre from Willunga. Some whole bunches were included in the various ferment batches over 22 days, and the wine was pressed to French oak (30% new). Sassy grenache rules the roost with its vibrant mix of cherry, pomegranate and rhubarb. 250 dozen made. Drink by 2031.
