2016 Chateau Le Grand Verdus Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and plum are trailed by some cigar box, black olive and spice notes. Elegant and medium weighted the palate has flavours of red currants and mulberry which are underpinned by leafy tobacco characters and spicy fresh herbs. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
