2016 Charteris The Hunt Vineyard Riesling

Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Intense ripe lime, red apple, honeysuckle and orange blossom aromas intermingle with hints of lemon butter and oily kerosene like notes. Racy acidity runs through a flavour spectrum of lime, green apple and mandarin infusions to give the palate a zippy feel. Subtle notions of honeysuckle and a flinty minerality ensue. Dry crunchy finish with a long elegant aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Delightful approach with honeyed apple notes, faint pastry characters, lemon blossom, lemon barley water notes. Palate has freshness, more precise citrus and green apple flavours, zingy acidity, clean lines and a good, long, mouth-watering finish. Pristine kinda deal. Delicious. Drink 2019-2027.
