2016 Catalina Sounds Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted aromas of passionfruit combines with ripe gooseberries, citrus and green apples followed by subtle herbaceous grassy end notes. Showing good intensity the palate sports vibrant gooseberry, passionfruit and citrus flavours that sit over traces of asparagus and herbaceous grassy characters. Dry finish with racy acidity and a long aftertaste of ripe gooseberries, citrus, herbaceous grassy characters and mineral.
