2016 Cape Jaffa Upwelling Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in French oak for 12 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant infused with tobacco leaf are trailed by hints of black olive, a faint whiff of capsicum and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses a good level of richness with flavours of blackcurrant to the fore, some mulberry, tobacco leaf, black olive and spicy cedar then chime in. Fine grained structural tannins with a medium length aftertaste.
