Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with a greenish tinged outskirts and watery hue. Delicate white peach and nectarine scents intermix with dried honey, biscuity oak and subtle spicy cashew. Light in body with a fresh yet subtlety creamed feel, the palate features nectarine, dried honey and citrus flavours over a nutty nougat and spicy biscuit background. Nicely balanced acidity has a brisk feel to it. Finishes with a spicy medium to long aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Those indefinable extras. For whatever reason this is a chardonnay with X-factor, though the execution seems so offhand that you keep diving in for another mouthful to see how the magic was achieved. It's a tough job but someone etc. In any case this chardonnay is pure, mouthwatering, creamy, laced with oyster shell and grapefruit flavour and primped with white peach. It's impressive from the outset but not in a wearying way; exactly the opposite. It's such a stylish wine. 270 dozen made. Drink by 2024.
