2016 Benito Ferrara Vigna Quattro Confini Irpinia Aglianico

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and blackcurrant infused with dried herbs intermix with liquorice, dusty earth, tobacco and spice. Medium bodied with a fresh underbelly, the palate has expressive dark cherry, blackcurrant and liquorice fruits over a back drop of subtle dark chocolate, earth and spicy dried herbs. Bright acidity with slightly chewy tannins leading into a dryish finish that displays elegance and medium length.
