2016 Benanti Nerello Cappuccio Terre Siciliane Rosso

Produced from Nerello Cappuccio grapes. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Lifted red cherry and red currant aromas intermix with notions of scorched earth, fresh herbs, a hint of violets and light spice. Light in body with an elegant feel the palate has red currant and red cherry fruits sitting over stony, lightly scorched earth elements. Some graphite and spicy dried herbs are also present. Dryish finish with fresh acidity, grainy tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
