2016 Angove McLaren Vale Shiraz

Excellent depth of colour displaying a black as night core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Fresh dark plum, blackberry and liquorice aromas emerge over toasty vanillin cedar, a hint of inkiness and spice. Medium weight with a fleshy mouthful of dark plum, liquorice, inky earth and spicy vanillin cedar. Slightly chalky finish with fine grained tannins and bright acidity. Aftertaste of inky dark plums, liquorice, earthy vanillin cedar and spice.
