2016 Alido Rosso di Toscana Sangiovese

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals dark cherry and red to blackcurrant aromas over earthy tobacco notes and dried herbs. Softly textured and immensely slurpable this light to medium weight Sangiovese offers up flavours of spicy dark cherries and red currant with subtlety earthed tobacco and dried herbs also present. Elegant, very well integrated tannins. Finishes with balanced acidity and an aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, earthy tobacco characters and dried herbs.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
