2016 Ad Hoc Cruel Mistress Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. The nose offers up an elevated aromatic profile of dark cherries and plums laced with hints of violets and dried clove followed by a subtle meatiness and spicy cedar. Light to medium weight with a supple textural feel and plenty of spice to it the palate is generously flavoured with dark cherries and plum infused with spicy dried clove nuances over toasty cedar and spiced herbs. Slightly dryish finish with velvet like tannins. Long spicy aftertaste of dark cherries, dark plums, toasty cedar and spicy dried herbs.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
