$32. 99

$395.88 Dozen
Cellar: 5 - 6 Years (2022-2023)
ABV: 13.5%

Matured for 8.5 months in old French and Hungarian hogsheads. Semi translucent dark ruby red core with a light crimson red hue. Juicy red raspberry, plum and liquorice scents emanate from the glass with ensuing lightly earthed cedar and spice notes. Rich and concentrated yet light in body, succulent dark raspberry, ripe red cherry, liquorice and vanillin confectionary flavours fill the mouth with some spice and light pepper following on. Supplely textured with a bright finish and velvety tannins it concludes long with an aftertaste of spicy ripe red and dark raspberries, red cherries, a touch of liquorice and vanillin confectionary infusions.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Matured in French and Hungarian hogsheads. Is absolutely a sister of its '16 vintage follow-on with its clarity of red fruit flavours and structure. It is as fresh as a daisy on the way in, and likewise on the finish and aftertaste. These Yalumba Grenaches are only light-bodied, but with intensity that belies their translucency. Drink by 2025.
