2015 Whistler Shiver Down My Spine Shiraz

Matured in old oak for 15 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe dark plum, liquorice and black cherry aromas fill the nostrils over vanillin cedar, light earth and spicy leather. Plump and rich, dark plum, liquorice and black cherry flavours flood the full bodied palate with an underpinning of lightly smoked cedar, earth and spice. A supple mid palate complimented by velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a long ripe dark plum, liquorice, black cherry, earthy vanillin oak, light smoky fennel and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
