2015 Warrabilla Single Vineyard Shiraz

A new kid on the block for Warrabilla with fruit sourced from a vineyard east of Rutherglen. Impenetrable inky black core with a very deep bright dark red black hue. Intense aromas of ripe black cherries, liquorice and blackberries rise from the glass over a background of dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak. Super concentrated with rich black cherry liqueur like fruit, liquorice and confectionary infusions, there’s also plenty of structure to this monstrous Shiraz. A good dose of vanillin oak is also present. Spicy finish with firmly built tannins and bright acidity providing the framework to the gob full of opulent fruit. Long liquorice, black cherry, vanillin oak and spicy pepper aftertaste.
