Rich, primary fruit freshness is matched to a chewy tannin structure.

Opaque black dark red colour with a bright purple crimson red hue. Lifted ripe black cherries intermixed with liquorice and inky earth are followed by some leather and spice end notes. Rich and full the palate is filled with succulent black cherry, liquorice and ripe dark cherry flavours with underlying inky earth and spice. Bright acidity with a dry chewy finish, the tannins possessing a sense of firmness. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy black cherries, liquorice, earth and a touch of leather.
Cellar 4-5 years.
