2015 Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles

A supplely textured Rhone impersonator with an extra dollop of new world richness.

A blend of old vine Grenache, Mataro and Shiraz. Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a dark red purple hue. Pronounced black cherry and black raspberry aromas meld into some liquorice, scorched earth and spicy incense like notes. Rich with a juicy textural feel the palate is filled with succulent black cherry, dark raspberry and liquorice flavours followed by some scorched earth with a spicy finish. Satiny perfectly integrated tannins enhance the wines suppleness. Excellent length with a deliciously long aftertaste of ripe black cherries, dark raspberries, incense infusions and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
