2015 Tim McNeil Shiraz

Matured in 20% new French oak hogsheads for 24 months. Impressive dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted plummy liquorice scents meld into vanillin cedar, subtle graphite and spice. Ultra rich, thick and densely textured the mouth is engulfed with ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry flavours which are interwoven with smoky vanillin cedar, earthy black olive and pepper characters. Robust tannins give the back palate a grippy feel. Long powerful chewy black fruited aftertaste.
