2015 Terzini Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Impenetrable black as night core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherries and a hint of dried cherries intermix with liquorice, earthy leather characters and subtlety spiced dried herb notes. Rich black cherry, dried cherry and liquorice flavours are overrun by vanillin oak which dominates the back palate. Some spicy earth elements are also apparent. Dry finish with a chewy mouthfeel and furry tannins. Aftertaste of vanillin oak, liquorice, earth and spice.
