Totally opaque inky black purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. The nose exhibits freshly crushed ripe berry scents that sit alongside some liquorice, vanillin cedar and light pepper. Medium to full bodied with a fresh feel the palate dishes up rich plum, liquorice and blueberry flavours over vivid acidity and notions of vanillin cedar and pepper. Very fine grained tannins. The theme of freshness running right through to the aftertaste of just crushed blackberries, liquorice, blueberries, vanillin cedar and pepper. A vibrant Adelaide Hills Shiraz that will require some patience.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 14%

Other Reviews….
Once it was called shiraz, now syrah. It's just so cool. Still, this is a very good wine - fabulous colour, awash with dark plums, blueberries, bay leaves and curry leaves. The palate is long with silky tannins, fuller bodied and showing a lot of restraint. Drink by 2025.
