Excellent colour saturation displaying an inky black dark purple core with a deep bright dark purple hue. Inky blackberry and liquorice aromas intermix with earth and vanillin cedar followed by spicy dried herb end notes. Possessing a vibrant chalky feel, freshly crushed dark cherry flavours meld into a hint of liquorice, inky earth and spicy dried herb characters. Finishes very dry with bright acidity and slightly chalky tannins which are reflected in the wines mouthfeel. Aftertaste of dark cherries, inky liquorice, earth and spicy dried herb infusions.
Cellar 4-5 years.
Alc 14%

Other Reviews….
Wow. This is impressive and the cooler Adelaide Hills proving to be a good home for Georgia's famous red. Beautiful black-purple-red and while there's an abundance of dark fruit, spice and decent tannin structure, the palate is quite fine and savoury. Aged in used French oak for 1 year so no overt wood flavours interfering with the integrity of this wine.
Drink by 2025.
