2015 Stonier Jimjoca Vineyard Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive greenish tinge to the edges and a watery hue. Intense aromas of ripe peaches laced with dried honey rise out of the glass followed by hints of apricot, lightly toasted biscuity oak, cashew and spicy nougat. Medium weighted with good richness and a creamy mouthfeel yet fresh finish, the palate dishes up flavours of fleshy peaches, dried honey, biscuity oak, citrusy nougat, subtle gun flint infusions and spice. Finishes dry with good acid balance. Lingering aftertaste of spicy peaches, dried honey, toast, biscuity oak, citrus, nougat and subtle gun flint.
