2015 St Mary's Pinot Noir

Aged in French oak. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark crimson red hue. Minty top notes intermix with ripe cherries and hints of liquorice followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Medium bodied with ample richness the palate has flavours of ripe cherries and dark plum overlaid with a mintness. Nuances of vanillin cedar and spice are also apparent on the finish. Finely grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, mint, vanillin cedar and spice. A ripe minty Pinot that lacks some varietal character.
