2015 Sinclair of Scotsburn Manor House Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edgings and a light red hue. Very perfumed nose with scents of violets, dark cherries, ripe strawberries and subtle anise blossoming from the glass followed by lightly earthed vanillin cedar and spicy fresh herbs. Light in body but quite savoury the palate sports dark cherry and strawberry flavours subtlety infused with anise over a back drop of smoky vanillin cedar and spice. Dryish finish with vibrant but balanced acidity and finely grained perfectly integrated tannins. Aftertaste of cherries, ripe strawberries, light anise, smoky vanillin cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
