Includes 22% whole bunch. Opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. The nose shows good intensity with aromas of liquorice, ripe blueberries and dark plums leading the charge over lightly smoked vanillin cedar and spicy dried herb notes. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses juicy dark plum and liquorice flavours over smoky vanillin cedar, a hint of fennel and spice. Slightly dryish finish with a supple mouthfeel and refined tannins. Aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, lightly smoked vanillin cedar and spicy fennel.
