Very deep dark red black tinged core with a dark red hue. The nose exudes ripe red currant and red cherry fruits which are complexed by violet and fragrant dried herb notes. Earthy old cedar, subtle tobacco and spice scents are also present. Rich and medium to full in body yet simultaneously savoury and remarkably elegant, the palate is decorated with ripe dark currant and dark cherry fruits which intermesh with infusions of earthy dried herbs, subtle tobacco, traces of leather and spicy old cedar nuances. Superb balance and power with slightly dryish yet polished tannins and bright acidity providing great structure. Finishes very long, rich and delicious with a rustic overtone.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 15%

Other Reviews…..
The transparency of fruit to this wine is so pretty with sliced black cherries and orange peel. Fresh and aromatic. Full body. Tight and polished with ultra-fine tannins and an intense and focused finish. A beauty. Drink after 2022.

Fruity and elegant, with cherry, strawberry, floral and mineral notes plying the lacy texture. Shows terrific balance and complexity. There is no shortage of structure and the finish blazes a path to glory. Best from 2022 through 2042.
