2015 Rob Hall Yarra Valley Cabernets

Totally opaque inky black core with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Freshly crushed berry scents of red and blackcurrant are followed by some inky mulberry notes, cedar and spice. Still very young and unevolved the palate has excellent richness with ripe red and blackcurrant fruits dominate over some inky cedar like characters and subtle spicy dried herbs. Dryish finish with slightly chalky but relatively fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of red and black fruits, inky cedar, earth and spice. Will improve greatly with bottle age.
Cellar 6-8 years.
