2015 Riposte The Cutlass Shiraz

Totally opaque black as night dark red core with a dark red hue. Black cherry and liquorice aromas are overlaid by prominent earthy blackpepper notes with dried meats and spicy vanillin cedar also evident. Medium bodied spicy black cherry, dark plum and liquorice flavours meld into smoky vanillin cedar, scorched earth, dried meats and blackpepper. Dry, slightly chewy tannins impart some grip. Aftertaste of spicy black cherries and liquorice laced with scorched earth, dried meats and blackpepper.
Cellar 4-5 years.
