2015 Pipers Brook Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. Perfumed aromas of violets, ripe dark cherries and strawberries subtlety laced with a dried clove overlay are followed by some meaty cedar and spicy anise notes. Light to medium weight with a supple mid palate flavours of dark cherries and strawberries infused with dried herbs are underpinned by a subtle meatiness and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, dried herb infusions, some earthy meatiness and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
