2015 Pegasus Bay Prima Donna Pinot Noir

Very deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Potent dark plum, ripe black cherry and anise aromas waft from the glass followed by some well concealed toasty cedar, forest floor, dried herbs and spice. Rich and weighty the palate is soaked with ripe dark plum, black cherry and anise fruit which overlays a back drop of toasty oak, earth and dried herbs. Spicy finish with velvety yet robust tannins complimenting the rich supple mid palate feel. Outstanding power with a long dark to black fruited aftertaste.
