2015 Nepenthe Pinnacle The Good Doctor Pinot Noir

Matured for 10 months in French oak puncheons. Semi translucent bright cherry red colour with a light crimson hue. Aromas of red cherries, strawberries and sour cherries drift over a back drop of stalk, fresh herb infusions and spicy cedar. Light with a supple textural feel the palate possesses flavours of ripe cherries intermixed with strawberries and sour cherries followed by stalky cedar, a light meatiness and spice. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Concludes with an aftertaste of spicy red cherries, sour cherries, a light meatiness and stalky cedar.
