2015 Narkoojee Lily Grace Chardonnay

A big, round mouthfilling style of Chardonnay that’s absolutely delicious.

Sourced from Narkoojee’s younger estate plantings the wine has been aged in mostly older French oak barriques to allow the fruit characters to express themselves fully.

Brilliant pale straw colour with a tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose displays excellent intensity with ripe peach aromas married to honeycomb and some butterscotch biscuit with following nuances of nougat, cashew and spice. Full bodied, rich and creamy in texture the palate is awash with flavours of ripe peaches intermixed with honeycomb and tropical fruits over a backdrop of nougat, cashew and spice. Excellent concentration and persistence with well balanced acidity enlivening the finish. Long aftertaste of ripe peaches, honeycomb, some butterscotch, nougat, light cashew and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
