2015 Moorooduc Estate Pinot Noir

Deep dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark red hue. Scented aromatics of violets overlay dark cherries and hints of strawberries with lightly smoked cedar, some meaty characters and spicy earth nuances ensuing. Light to medium bodied with excellent richness and fleshy mouthfeel the palate dishes up generous dark cherry, plum and subtle strawberry flavours over smoky cedar, light infusions of anise, dried meats and lots of spice on the finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Long spicy dark cherry, dark plum, smoky cedar, dried meats and subtle earth aftertaste.
