2015 Mollydooker The Scooter Merlot

Very deep dark red-black colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of dark plum and very ripe blackcurrant are followed by a whiff of liquorice and spicy toasted oak. Rich and round the palate is generously endowed with spicy dark plum and liquorice flavours over some toasty vanillin oak. Supplely textured with velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice and toasty vanillin oak. A ripe opulent Merlot.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
